Imagine watching a movie, film, show without hearing any sound from it. How does it feel watching without completely understanding what it's all about? Does it make you feel interested or it just annoyed you hearing nothing? Hence, sound/audio is one of the very important tool when it comes to animation production. It helps the story express the true essence of what the production really wanted to convey to the viewers.
Sound is like the breath of the story, without it the story is lifeless. It is the sound that will bring the audience into the movie and express all their emotions as if they are a part of the characters in the story.
Sounds are important part of animation for it conveys action, express emotion, and gives impact to the story.
Every little sound are essential to every story. It gives you additional thought and information for you to understand the clearer meaning of the animation. Just like a jigsaw puzzle, losing one piece makes the puzzle incomplete. We are left trying to find the missing piece just to be able to see the picture as a whole. Maybe we can say that sound/audio is just a part of the animation production pipeline but little did we know that this what we called "just a part" gives a big effect in creating an interesting production successfully.
